Basketball teaches GRIT and resiliency.....  which is why we love basketball. 

 

GRIT's Basketball program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of the game in a fun and non-competitive environment.  Athletes will learn core ball-handling skills, the rules of the game as well as conditioning.  We are dedicated to focusing on the values of the game to help grow and improve the youth basketball experience for all.   

Intro to Basketball 

Winter Program 

Jan 6th - March 24th 2022 

Two Young High School Basketball Players Playing Game. Youth Basketball Players Running in

Basketball @ Primary Prep starts on January 6th and runs through March 24th.  It is only for Students of Primary Prep. 

It is offered in 2 semesters comprising of 6 weeks/classes.  If you choose to register for just the first semester you can renew for the same price if you decide to continue the program.  A discount is provided for Full Semester commitment only.

Basketball Fundamentals

Start your Basketball career @ GRIT!  Our Basketball  Fundamentals Program helps young athletes establish their basketball skills while learning the fundamentals of the game. It's fast-paced and tons of fun! 

 

Young players will learn: 

  • Game Basics ( how to play the game)

  • Core Skills ( dribbling, defense, passing, shooting)

  • Mental Strategies ( values needed to play as a team) 

  • Conditioning ( speed, agility, quickness, stamina, coordination) 

  • Modified, age-appropriate gameplay 

Semester 1 - Jan 6th - Feb 10th 

Cost $180 

 

Thursdays @ 3:00pm   3rd -5th Graders

 

Thursdays @ 4:00pm   6th- 8th Graders 

 

Full Semester - Jan 6th - Mar 24th 

Cost $300

 

Thursdays @ 3:00pm   3rd -5th Graders

 

Thursdays @ 4:00pm   6th- 8th Graders 

 

NOTE : ALL 6th - 8th grades will need to pay for after-school from 3-4 if they are not in a current after-school program at that time.
